Over time, I’ve found myself naturally drawn toward photography that feels slower, simpler, and more connected to nature.

Most of my sessions happen outdoors, using natural light and rural settings. Foggy paddocks, dirt roads, tall trees, open hills, golden fields, and the quiet beauty of country living. I’m also drawn to photographing families at home, especially those with young children or breastfeeding mums who want something gentle, familiar, and unhurried. Each session unfolds around you, your energy, your story, and your season of life. I guide gently so nothing feels stiff or overly posed.

For those visiting my new area, I offer scenic sessions across the wider Tararua and Hawke’s Bay region. There’s so much understated beauty here, rugged beaches, rolling farmland, heritage streets, pockets of forest, and light that turns soft and golden when the timing is right!

Someone once told me I click the shutter at exactly the right moment. I think that’s my gift :) Not perfect poses, but honest moments and images that feel like home.
